Okay, let me assume first that you are staying at L’Fisher, Chalet or Avenue Suites. I highly recommend any of these three because they are located in the center of Bacolod City.
Right across L’Fisher Hotel is Calea. In fact there are two Caleas, one across the hotel and one beside it. The once across is bigger, but the other one is the original.
Walk north six blocks and you’ll get to 21 Restaurant, Bacolod’s legendary resto where you can batchoy, if you come early enough. One more block and you are at Cafe Bob’s, another Bacolod landmark. Four more blocks and you are at Chicken House.
Walk tw0 blocks south from L’Fisher and you are at Sorrento, a collection of little watering holes. One more block and you are at Avenue Suites. And three more blocks after that you are at Negros Showrom where you can fulfill all your shopping needs.
Going north, but a bit too far to walk, is Robinsons. Go Hotel is located here and a nicer version of the Negros Showroom. Check out the Local Hermit booth in the Negros Showroom and get their iconic piayaya wallet. I really recommend their stuff.
Going even further north, but you’ll really need a vehicle for this one, is The District, Ayala’s contribution to the Negros mall scene which may complete your whole Bacolod experience.
